How we do it at Quantum

A medical protocol, not a catalog

Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.

  1. 01

    Medical consultation

Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.

  2. 02

    D10 Facial Scanner

Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.

  3. 03

    Follow-up visit

We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.

What it is and how it works

Dark spot treatment (Cosmelan)

Cosmelan is a protocol that regulates the production of melanin, the pigment that forms dark spots, to help even out your skin tone. It starts at the clinic, where we apply the Cosme 1 mask, and continues at home with Cosme 2. The complete protocol also includes sunscreen and a soothing cream.

It's recommended for dark spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, or a dull facial tone, as long as you can follow the at-home phase consistently and use sunscreen every day: without that, the pigment comes back. We don't perform it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on skin that is irritated, broken, or infected.

The in-office application takes about 30 minutes. Over the following days your skin turns red and peels, and improvement appears gradually over weeks; every skin responds differently. The complete protocol starts at $3.500.000 and includes the consultation, the products, and our professional follow-up.

Your session

Step by step

Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis with the facial analyzer

With the facial analyzer, we identify what type of pigment you have and how deep it is, and confirm whether this protocol is right for you.

    Medical consultation before starting

  2. 02

    In-clinic phase

In the office, we apply the Cosme 1 mask and tell you how long to leave it on and how to remove it at home.

    Done in the office

  3. 03

    At-home phase with follow-up visits

At home, you continue with Cosme 2, plus the soothing cream and sunscreen; at each follow-up visit we review how your skin is progressing.

    Regular follow-up visits

Safety and natural results

Less is more

We want you to look like yourself, at your best. These are the criteria we follow in every session.

Original products registered with INVIMA

  • 01

    Diagnosis comes first

Every dark spot is different, so we confirm the type of pigment before recommending the protocol.

  • 02

    Written instructions

You leave the clinic with written instructions: how to use each product and when to remove the mask.

  • 03

    Realistic expectations

Melasma is a chronic condition that can come back; we teach you how to maintain your results.

  • 04

    Irritation monitoring

Redness and peeling are normal; we check that your skin is reacting the way we expect.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions

Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.

How much does Cosmelan cost?

The complete protocol starts at $3.500.000. That price covers the Cosme 1 mask, the Cosme 2 phase, sunscreen, and the soothing cream.

Does it hurt?

No needles are used. In the first few days you may feel burning, itching, and tightness, which we manage with the soothing cream and the instructions we give you.

How long does recovery take?

Your skin usually turns red and peels for several days; many people prefer to spend that time at home.

How soon will I see results?

Dark spots lighten gradually over the following weeks. How much they improve depends on the type of spot and how closely you follow the at-home phase.

Can the dark spots come back?

Yes, they can come back, especially melasma, with sun exposure or hormonal changes. That's why daily sun protection and maintenance are essential.

Who shouldn't have it?

It isn't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on irritated or broken skin. We review your case during your consultation.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Depending on your skin, it can later be complemented with depigmenting mesotherapy or microneedling; we decide this at your follow-up.
