Privacy notice

Quantum Estética S.A.S (Clínica Quantum), NIT (Colombian tax ID) 901.573.402-4, Cl. 7 # 39-290, Consultorio 516, Piso 5, El Poblado, Medellín, is the controller of your personal data. We collect it to provide you with medical care, create and safekeep your medical record, schedule, confirm and remind you of your appointments, handle your requests, meet legal and accounting obligations and, only if you authorize it separately, send you follow-ups on your treatments and promotions.

Health data and clinical photographs are sensitive: you are not required to provide them. Your data is stored in medical record, scheduling, messaging and database systems of providers acting on our behalf, some with servers outside Colombia, under confidentiality and security agreements. We do not sell it.

You have the right to access, update, correct and delete your data, request proof of your authorization, revoke it, and go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (Colombia's data protection authority). Before creating your first appointment, we ask you for two separate authorizations. The first covers your care and your appointment reminders; without it we cannot book you. The second is optional and covers follow-up messages and promotions.

1) Do you authorize the processing of your data for your care and your appointment reminders? Reply SÍ (yes) or NO.

2) Would you also like to receive follow-ups on your treatments and promotions by WhatsApp? At most one message per week; cancel anytime by replying BAJA (unsubscribe). Reply SÍ (yes) or NO.

Your answer is saved in the conversation as proof of authorization, as required by Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia's Data Protection Law). If you are a minor, your legal representative answers.

Reminders: the day before your appointment you receive a WhatsApp message with the date and time, with buttons to confirm or ask for a change. It is a service message and contains no clinical information.

Follow-ups and promotions: only if you replied SÍ (yes) to the second question. We remind you when your treatment's follow-up visit is due and share news with you, at most one message per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., never on Sundays or public holidays, as required by Ley 2300 de 2023 (Colombia's law limiting contact hours for marketing messages).

We never send you diagnoses, notes from your medical record or photographs by WhatsApp. That information can only be viewed at the clinic.

Reply BAJA (unsubscribe) to any follow-up message or write to the clinic's WhatsApp: we stop sending you follow-ups and promotions that same day. Your medical care and the reminders for appointments you already have booked do not change.

To also stop receiving reminders, or to access, correct or ask us to delete your data, write to us at +57 300 244 0656 or info@quantumclinica.com with your name and ID document. We answer inquiries within a maximum of ten (10) business days and claims within a maximum of fifteen (15). Your medical record is kept for the periods set by health law even if you withdraw the other authorizations.
