Before you decide
Is it right for you?
We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.
Ideal if…
- You have darkened skin on your underarms, groin or intimate area
- You feel self-conscious in a swimsuit or sleeveless clothes
- The pigmentation came from friction, hair removal or hormonal changes
- You want a more even tone through a gradual plan
- You prefer a discreet protocol guided by medical judgment
We assess you first if…
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- There's irritation, wounds or an active infection in the area
- You have spots that change shape or color and haven't been assessed
- You expect an immediate change from a single session
Before you decide
The questions we hear most, answered straight.
- Is it painful?
- It's usually well tolerated. Depending on the protocol, you may feel burning, warmth or mild tenderness during or after the session. If anything bothers you at any point, just tell us and we'll make adjustments to protect your skin.
- How long do results last? Can the darkening come back?
- You can maintain the tone you achieve, but darkening may return if friction, aggressive hair removal or hormonal changes continue. To prevent it, we give you care instructions and, if needed, maintenance sessions.

What it is and how it works
Intimate area and underarm lightening
On the underarms, groin and intimate area, the skin makes more melanin to defend itself against friction and frequent irritation; that's why it darkens. Evening out the tone takes more than lightening: you also need to reduce what triggers that pigment. We combine depigmenting products and procedures suitable for sensitive skin with guidance for your daily routine.
It's for anyone who notices darkening from friction, hair removal or hormonal changes and feels self-conscious in sleeveless clothes or a swimsuit. Improvement is gradual and takes consistency; it isn't a one-session change. We wait if you're pregnant or breastfeeding or have irritation, wounds or infection, and we first assess any spot that changes shape or color.
Each session takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and you continue your routine the same day. The price depends on the areas and the protocol, so we set it during your consultation.

What's normal and what to expect
It is normal to experience redness, mild burning, tightness, dryness, temporary darkening, peeling in the first days. Symptoms improve gradually within a week. Peeling is part of the renewal process; do not force it. Results are progressive and require multiple sessions (usually 3 to 5) for optimal results. Improvement in tone and texture appears between sessions.

We answer your questions

How much does lightening cost?
The price is personalized: it varies with the areas to be treated, the degree of pigmentation and the recommended protocol. During your consultation, we examine your skin discreetly and give you the plan and its price before we begin.
Is it painful?
It's usually well tolerated. Depending on the protocol, you may feel burning, warmth or mild tenderness during or after the session. If anything bothers you at any point, just tell us and we'll make adjustments to protect your skin.
How many sessions are needed?
It depends on how much pigmentation there is and your skin type. Several sessions are usually needed, along with consistent home care. During your consultation, we give you an approximate number.
How soon do results show?
Lightening is gradual, because skin takes time to renew itself and clear the pigment. It usually becomes visible as sessions progress; how much you achieve depends on the cause of the pigmentation and how consistent you are with your care.
How long do results last? Can the darkening come back?
You can maintain the tone you achieve, but darkening may return if friction, aggressive hair removal or hormonal changes continue. To prevent it, we give you care instructions and, if needed, maintenance sessions.
What side effects should I expect?
There's no downtime: you're back to your routine the same day. The most common effects are redness, mild peeling, tenderness or temporary burning. Your skin calms down faster if you wear loose clothing and protect it from friction.
Can it be combined with laser hair removal?
Often, yes, since shaving or waxing less helps keep the area from darkening. If you'd also like vaginal rejuvenation, we coordinate both during your consultation, respecting your skin's timing.
Who shouldn't have lightening?
We rule it out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, when the area has a wound or active infection, and on spots that haven't been assessed. Any spot that changes shape or color, we evaluate first, before treating it.
