Before you decide
Is it right for you?
We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.
Ideal if…
- You feel like your hair is falling out more or looks thinner
- You prefer a treatment that uses a component from your own body
- You want a complement to your hair transplant
- You want to protect the density you still have
We assess you first if…
- You have a clotting or platelet disorder
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- There is an active infection on your scalp or you have a fever
- There are areas with no follicles left: for those, it's worth considering a transplant
How we do it at Quantum
A medical protocol, not a catalog
Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.
- 01
Medical consultation
Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.
- 02
D10 Facial Scanner
Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.
- 03
Follow-up visit
We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.
What it is and how it works
Scalp PRP (platelet-rich plasma)
Hair PRP starts with a small sample of your blood, which we process to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. That concentrate is delivered into the scalp through micro-injections. Platelets provide growth factors that support follicle activity, and because it's your own material, the chance of an allergy is low.
It's an option if you notice more hair loss or thinner hair, want to protect the density you still have, or want to complement a hair transplant. Where there are no longer any follicles, what should be considered is a transplant. We rule it out if there are clotting problems or issues with your platelet count, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have a scalp infection or fever.
Each session lasts 45 to 60 minutes, and you go back to your routine the same day. Several sessions are needed, depending on your case, and changes show gradually, over months. Sessions start at $350.000.

Your session
Step by step
Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.
- 01
Initial hair assessment
Using the hair analyzer, we check the condition of your scalp and your hair density, and confirm that PRP is the right treatment.
After a medical consultation
- 02
Blood draw and application
First we draw blood; then we process it to obtain the plasma, which we deliver into the scalp through micro-injections.
45 to 60 min
- 03
Hair follow-up
We schedule each session according to your case and, as we see how you progress, adjust the plan when needed.

Before starting, we let you know if your hair loss calls for tests or any additional medical management.
- 04
Gradual changes, explained

You'll feel the needle prick when the blood sample is drawn and small pricks on your scalp. It's usually well tolerated, and the discomfort goes away quickly.
