What it is and how it works
Cryolipolysis (Cryonic)
Cryolipolysis takes advantage of the fact that fat tolerates cold less well than skin or muscle. With the Cryonic device, we cool the treatment area in a controlled way; the affected fat cells are damaged and the body clears them on its own over the following weeks. To support that process, the plan includes 3 INDIBA sessions and a lymphatic drainage session.
It's for anyone close to their ideal weight with fat on the abdomen, flanks, back or legs that won't budge with diet or exercise. If your goal is weight loss, or what bothers you most is skin laxity, there are better-suited options. We rule it out during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and with hernias in the area, cold urticaria or cryoglobulinemia.
Each area is treated in a single 35- to 60-minute session, and you return to your routine that day. The change is gradual, over weeks. Prices start at $1.600.000 with one applicator and increase with the number of applicators we decide on with you during your consultation.

Consultation and fat fold measurement
At the clinic, we examine the areas, measure the fat fold and confirm that cryolipolysis is the right option for you. From there, we decide the number of applicators.

What's normal and what to expect
It is normal to experience redness, mild swelling, tingling, sensitivity, or temporary numbness in the area. Small bruises or ecchymosis may form and disappear in 1 to 2 weeks. Swelling decreases in the first few days. Visible results begin between 2 to 4 weeks. Optimal results are appreciated between 2 to 3 months, when fat cells have been completely eliminated.

How much does cryolipolysis cost?
With 1 applicator, prices start at $1.600.000. It varies with how many applicators are used (from 1 to 6), and every plan includes 1 lymphatic drainage and 3 INDIBA sessions.
Does cryolipolysis help with weight loss?
No. Its goal is to reduce inches and contour the abdomen, flanks, back or legs. If you want to lose weight, the clinic offers weight-reduction programs with medical follow-up.
Is it painful?
For the first few minutes you feel intense cold and the pressure of the suction; shortly after, the area goes numb and the sensation becomes tolerable. Afterward, there may be some temporary tenderness.
How long until I see results?
The treated fat is cleared gradually: visible changes start between 2 and 4 weeks, and the optimal result shows between 2 and 3 months.
Are the results permanent?
Fat cells that are eliminated don't come back, but the remaining ones can grow if you gain weight. Keeping steady habits helps maintain your results.
Does it have side effects?
It's common to have redness, numbness, swelling or a mild bruise for a few days. Rarely, the opposite of what's intended happens: fat in the area grows instead of shrinking, which is why we do follow-up.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. The plan already includes INDIBA and drainage; depending on your case, phosphatidylcholine or the abdominal reduction package can be added.
Who shouldn't have cryolipolysis?
We don't recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Nor if there are hernias in the area, cryoglobulinemia, cold urticaria or any other abnormal sensitivity to cold.
