What it is and how it works
Jawline contouring
When the jawline loses definition, whether because of bone structure or the passing years, the face visually blends into the neck. In jawline contouring we place hyaluronic acid along the jawbone, from the angle to the chin, to draw that edge. The design is tailored to each person: more harmonious and soft, or more angular, depending on your features.
It's for you if you want more definition in your profile without surgery. When what blurs the contour is double-chin fat or significant sagging, it's usually best to treat that before or at the same time, and we look at this during your consultation. We don't do it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The session takes 45 to 60 minutes and results are immediate; you're back to your routine in 24 to 48 hours, and the effect lasts for months. Because it covers a long stretch, about 4 syringes is typical, starting at $1.200.000 each. If you prefer, we can plan it in phases.

- 01Whenever possible, arrive with clean skin: no makeup, creams, sunscreen or oils on the area to be treated.
- 02Avoid consuming alcohol during the 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
- 03If you take anticoagulants or have a bleeding disorder, please let us know before the procedure.
- 04Tell us if you have wounds, an active infection, herpes, dermatitis, inflammatory acne, known allergies or significant sensitivity in the area.
- 05Inform us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an autoimmune disease, a history of reactions to injectables or any other relevant medical condition.
- 06If you have fillers, lifting threads, have recently undergone laser or other procedures in the area, let us know so we can determine the ideal timing.
- 07Read and sign the informed consent once all your questions have been answered.
After
- 01Avoid touching, pressing, rubbing, or manipulating the treated area during the first few hours.
- 02Do not massage the treated area unless instructed by your physician.
- 03Avoid wearing makeup during the first 12 to 24 hours, or until your skin is less sensitive.
- 04Do not schedule dental appointments on the day of the procedure or the following day.
- 05Avoid intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, swimming pools and intense heat during the first 24 to 48 hours.
- 06Avoid consuming alcohol during the first 24 to 48 hours after the procedure.
- 07Apply sunscreen daily and avoid prolonged direct sun exposure if the treated area is exposed.
- 08Do not undergo deep cleansing, facial massages or any other procedures in the treated area for at least 7 days, unless otherwise instructed.
- 09Stay well hydrated and follow the skincare recommendations your physician provides to optimize your results.
What's normal and what to expect
It is normal to experience redness, swelling, sensitivity, small bruises, a feeling of pressure, pinpoint injection marks or small raised areas in the following days.
With skin booster treatments, you may notice small bumps or superficial irregularities that usually improve gradually within a few days.
Results develop gradually and depend on the product, the treated area, skin quality and your individual response. Multiple sessions may be required.

When can't it be done?
