Before you decide

Is it right for you?

We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.

Ideal if…

  • Enlarged pores or uneven texture bother you
  • Acne left you with mild scars
  • You want firmer skin without turning to aggressive treatments
  • You prefer to improve your skin quality little by little
  • You'd also like to treat your neck or chest

We assess you first if…

  • You have an infection, herpes, or inflamed active acne in the area
  • Your skin is irritated or sunburned
  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You tend to form keloid scars: we assess this first

Before you decide

The questions we hear most, answered straight.

Does it hurt?
We apply a topical anesthetic before we start. During the session you'll feel vibration and mild discomfort, more over bony areas like the forehead, nose and chin. Almost everyone finds it tolerable.
How long do the results last?
With good care, the improvement in texture and scars usually lasts. Since your skin keeps aging, maintenance sessions and daily sunscreen help with pores and firmness.

How we do it at Quantum

A medical protocol, not a catalog

Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.

  1. 01

    Medical consultation

Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.

  2. 02

    D10 Facial Scanner

Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.

  3. 03

    Follow-up visit

We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.

What it is and how it works

Microneedling

It's recommended for enlarged pores, uneven texture, mild acne scars and gradually firming the skin, on the face as well as the neck or chest.

  • 01Collagen stimulation
  • 02Less visible pores
  • 03Softens mild scars
  • 04Short recovery

Your session

Step by step

Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.

  1. 01

    Consultation with a facial analyzer

With the facial analyzer, we review marks, pores, and texture; we talk about what you want to improve and decide how many areas to treat and how often.

    Medical consultation before starting

  2. 02

    Your microneedling session

After topical anesthetic and disinfecting your skin, we treat each area at the right depth: more superficial on delicate areas and deeper over the marks.

    45 to 60 min

  3. 03

    Follow-up and next sessions

We see how your skin responds and how its texture changes, then book your next sessions with the recommended interval so your skin can recover.

Safety and natural results

Less is more

We want you to look like yourself, at your best. These are the criteria we follow in every session.

Original products registered with INVIMA

  • 01

    Disposable cartridges

Every session uses new, sterile, single-use materials.

  • 02

    Depth by area

The eye area and the cheeks are not treated at the same depth.

  • 03

    Only skin without infection

We avoid treating over wounds or inflamed acne so bacteria don't spread.

  • 04

    Pigment control

If your skin gets dark spots easily, we lower the intensity and step up sun protection.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions

Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.

How much does microneedling cost?

Each area costs from $280.000, which covers the initial medical consultation, the session on that area and your aftercare instructions. During your consultation we decide how many areas and sessions you need.

Does it hurt?

We apply a topical anesthetic before we start. During the session you'll feel vibration and mild discomfort, more over bony areas like the forehead, nose and chin. Almost everyone finds it tolerable.

How many days does the redness last?

Usually 1 to 3 days, similar to a mild sunburn, with some sensitivity and light flaking. Many people go back to their routine the next day, avoiding makeup for the first 24 hours.

How many sessions will I need?

For scars and texture, 3 to 6 sessions are usually recommended, several weeks apart, so your skin can produce collagen. We adjust the exact number to your skin and to what you want to improve.

How soon will I see results?

Within a few days your skin usually looks brighter. Pores and scars keep improving in the weeks after each session as new collagen forms.

How long do the results last?

With good care, the improvement in texture and scars usually lasts. Since your skin keeps aging, maintenance sessions and daily sunscreen help with pores and firmness.

Who shouldn't have it?

We rule it out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and when there is infection, herpes or active inflamed acne in the area; if you tend to form keloids, we assess you first. Possible effects include redness, pinpoint marks and flaking, and, rarely, breakouts or dark spots.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Combining it with platelet-rich plasma is common to boost regeneration, and if dark spots also concern you, we offer a microneedling package with depigmenting agents. During your consultation we choose the right option.
