Before you decide
Is it right for you?
We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.
Ideal if…
- You notice mild to moderate sagging in your cheeks or facial contour
- Your neck or jawline looks less defined
- You want a lifting effect without surgery
- You'd like to complement a biostimulation plan
We assess you first if…
- You have excess skin or severe sagging, cases that need a surgical evaluation
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- There is an active infection in the area or you have a bleeding disorder
- You have uncontrolled autoimmune diseases
Before you decide
The questions we hear most, answered straight.
- Is the procedure painful?
- We use local anesthesia, so during placement you mainly feel pressure. In the following days, you may have tolerable discomfort and tightness.
- How long does the effect last?
- The lift is noticeable from the start, and the new collagen helps maintain it. It usually lasts about a year or more, depending on your age and your skin.
- How much recovery does it require?
- Within a few days you can return to light activities, although you need to follow special care for one or two weeks. During that time, swelling and bruising usually subside.

How we do it at Quantum
A medical protocol, not a catalog
Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.
- 01
Medical consultation
Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.
- 02
D10 Facial Scanner
Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.
- 03
Follow-up visit
We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.
What it is and how it works
Thread lift
These are medical-grade threads that the body absorbs, with tiny barbs or anchoring cones. We insert them under the skin with a fine cannula and, as they anchor in the tissue, they reposition and support it, which is why the lifting effect is noticeable from the start. As the body absorbs them, collagen forms around them, which helps maintain the result.
We recommend them when there is mild to moderate sagging of the cheeks or facial contour, or when the neck and jawline have lost definition, and as a complement to a biostimulation plan. If there is severe sagging or excess skin, your consultation may point you toward surgery. We don't place them during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with infection, bleeding disorders or uncontrolled autoimmune diseases.
The procedure takes 45 to 60 minutes in a single session. Afterward come 1 to 2 weeks of special care and a follow-up visit. The price depends on the number of threads and the area, so we quote it at your consultation.

Your session
Step by step
Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.
- 01
Consultation and vector mapping
With the facial analyzer, we study your face, how much the tissues have sagged and the quality of your skin; from there, we map the vectors and decide how many threads to use.
Medical consultation before treatment
- 02
Thread insertion
We mark your face, apply local anesthesia and place the threads with a fine cannula, adjusting the tension of each vector.
45 to 60 min
- 03
Recovery and follow-up visits
The lifting effect is noticeable from the start and becomes more defined as the swelling goes down. In the following days, we check on you at your follow-up visit.

Frequently asked questions
We answer your questions
Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.
How much does a thread lift cost?
We quote it at your consultation, since it depends on the area and how many threads are needed. As a reference, the face or neck plan includes 6 threads.
Is the procedure painful?
We use local anesthesia, so during placement you mainly feel pressure. In the following days, you may have tolerable discomfort and tightness.
How long does the effect last?
The lift is noticeable from the start, and the new collagen helps maintain it. It usually lasts about a year or more, depending on your age and your skin.
How much recovery does it require?
Within a few days you can return to light activities, although you need to follow special care for one or two weeks. During that time, swelling and bruising usually subside.
What side effects are possible?
You may have bruising, swelling, tenderness, tightness or slight skin irregularities that usually settle. We tell you what's normal and when you should contact us.
Can the threads be seen or felt?
If they're placed correctly, they can't be seen. At first you may feel them in some areas, and that sensation fades as the tissue adapts.
Can I combine them with other treatments?
Yes. They're often combined with Sculptra or calcium hydroxylapatite, which improve skin quality; we decide the order at your consultation.
Who is not a candidate for a thread lift?
We don't place them during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have a bleeding disorder, an active infection in the area or uncontrolled autoimmune diseases.
