Before you decide
Is it right for you?
We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.
Ideal if…
- Scars or acne marks that haven't improved with superficial treatments bother you
- You see very visible pores or uneven skin texture
- You want to restore firmness because your skin is starting to lose tone
- You're able to strictly protect yourself from the sun while you recover
We assess you first if…
- There's active acne, herpes, or an infection in the area to be treated
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- Your skin is dark or pigments easily: we'll determine during your consultation whether it's suitable
- You won't be able to avoid the sun in the weeks afterward
Before you decide
The questions we hear most, answered straight.
- Does it hurt?
- Before we begin, we apply topical anesthetic. Even so, you'll feel heat and itching, which nearly all patients tolerate without any problem.
- How many days does recovery take?
- There's intense redness, swelling, and scabbing for 7 to 14 days while the skin regenerates. Residual redness can last 2 to 4 weeks, and final results are visible between 3 and 6 months. We explain how to manage each stage.

A medical protocol, not a catalog
Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.
- 01

What it is and how it works
Fractional CO2 laser
CO2 laser creates micro-zones of tightly controlled heat in the skin. The skin responds by repairing itself: it renews tissue and produces new collagen, which can improve acne scars and marks, uneven texture, visible pores, and firmness.
We recommend it when scars or texture haven't improved with superficial treatments and when you can commit to strict sun protection during recovery. If there's active acne, herpes, or another infection in the area, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we wait. For dark skin or skin prone to pigmentation, the consultation determines whether it's a safe option.
Each session takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area, and most plans involve 1 to 3 sessions. Afterward come several days of redness and peeling, which are part of the process. Improvement builds over weeks to months, and we track it at follow-up visits. The price depends on the area and the number of sessions, so we quote it during your consultation.

Your session
Step by step
Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.
- 01
Consultation with a facial analyzer
With the facial analyzer, we study your skin, your skin type (phototype), and how easily you develop pigmentation; that helps us decide whether laser is suitable for you and how to prepare your skin.
Medical consultation before treatment
- 02
Your CO2 laser session
First we apply topical anesthetic; then we treat the area with settings adapted to your case. It's normal to feel heat and itching, which we keep under control throughout the session.
30 to 60 min
- 03
Recovery with follow-up
We give you an aftercare plan for the days when your skin is red and peeling, and at your follow-up visits we check how it's healing.
Progress follow-up
Safety and natural results
Less is more
We want you to look like yourself, at your best. These are the criteria we follow in every session.

- 01
Your phototype sets the path
When skin is dark or prone to pigmentation, we review the risk of hyperpigmentation before recommending laser.
- 02
Personalized settings
We adjust intensity and depth to your skin and the concern being treated; we don't use a one-size-fits-all protocol.
- 03
Recovery you can plan for
Before the session, we tell you how many days of redness and peeling to expect so you can plan your schedule.
- 04
Follow-up after the session
We review your progress with you and adjust your aftercare if your skin needs it.

We answer your questions

How much does CO2 laser cost?
We quote it during your consultation, since the price varies with the area, the treatment goal, and the number of sessions you need. At your visit, we give you the exact figure.
Does it hurt?
Before we begin, we apply topical anesthetic. Even so, you'll feel heat and itching, which nearly all patients tolerate without any problem.
How many days does recovery take?
There's intense redness, swelling, and scabbing for 7 to 14 days while the skin regenerates. Residual redness can last 2 to 4 weeks, and final results are visible between 3 and 6 months. We explain how to manage each stage.
How soon do results show?
Once the peeling ends, you'll already notice smoother skin. Scars and firmness keep improving over weeks and months as new collagen forms.
Is it suitable for dark skin?
It depends on each case. Dark skin or skin prone to pigmentation has a higher risk of hyperpigmentation; during your consultation we decide whether it's suitable or whether a safer treatment is better for you.
What side effects are possible?
The most common effects are redness, swelling, sensitivity, and peeling. Less often, dark spots or breakouts appear, which is why aftercare and sun protection are strict.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. For depressed scars we sometimes combine it with subcision, and for acne we first control breakouts with a protocol before the laser.
