What it is and how it works
Post-surgical INDIBA
During recovery from body surgery, INDIBA radiofrequency warms the tissue gently and in a controlled way, which improves its blood flow. The package combines ten radiofrequency sessions, drainage, and wound care, so all of your recovery care happens in one place, with close follow-up.
It's recommended if you had liposculpture, a tummy tuck, or another body surgery, your surgeon has already approved therapy, and you have swelling or hardened areas. We don't use it if your surgeon hasn't approved radiofrequency yet, if you have a pacemaker or another implanted device, signs of infection, bleeding, or a suspected blood clot, or significant changes in sensation in the area.
Each session lasts 45 to 60 minutes, and progress is gradual, session by session. We set the frequency at your post-surgical consultation. The package starts at $2.800.000.

We only start radiofrequency with their approval and follow their instructions on the compression garment and activity.

- 01Whenever possible, arrive with clean skin: no creams, oils, self-tanners or cosmetics on the area to be treated.
- 02Avoid alcohol during the 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
- 03Stay well hydrated before and after: drink 1 to 2 liters of water per day to promote an optimal tissue response.
- 04Tell us if you have wounds, an active infection, dermatitis, inflammation, significant pain, known allergies or marked sensitivity in the area.
- 05Let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker, electronic or metallic implants in the area, altered sensation, significant vascular disease, a bleeding disorder or any other relevant medical condition.
- 06If you have had recent procedures in the area (surgery, liposuction, fillers, biostimulators, laser or radiofrequency), let us know so we can define the ideal timing.
- 07Read and sign the informed consent once all your questions have been answered.
After
- 01Avoid intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, swimming pools and intense heat during the first 24 hours.
- 02Stay well hydrated and follow the diet, physical activity and lifestyle guidance provided by your physician to optimize results.
- 03Apply sunscreen if the treated area is exposed and avoid intense direct sun exposure if redness is present.
- 04Resume your normal routine the same day: Indiba requires no downtime or recovery period.
- 05Results are progressive and depend on the treatment goal; several sessions are generally required.
What's normal and what to expect
It is normal to experience redness, local warmth, sensitivity, mild swelling, a feeling of pressure or temporary discomfort in the treated area.
The sensation of deep warmth during the session is part of the therapeutic effect and is usually pleasant and relaxing.
Results build session by session: improved firmness, texture and contour throughout the treatment plan. We support you at every follow-up to assess your progress.

In addition to drainage and wound care, this package includes 10 INDIBA sessions, while the basic plan combines drainage, wound care, and ultrasound.
Does it help with fibrosis?
Radiofrequency can help with areas that harden. When fibrosis is already established, we assess adding the fibrosis treatment.
Can it have side effects?
There may be some redness or warmth for a while. When sensation is altered, there's a risk of irritating the skin, so we monitor every session.
Does it replace my follow-up visits with my surgeon?
No. Ours is complementary care: your surgeon is still in charge of monitoring your recovery.
