Before you decide

Is it right for you?

We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.

Ideal if…

  • You notice slight excess skin on your eyelids
  • You're concerned about fine wrinkles in small areas
  • You want to treat a specific area without surgery
  • You can set aside a few days in your schedule for swelling and scabs
  • You're able to care for the area and avoid the sun for several weeks

We assess you first if…

  • Your skin is dark or gets dark spots easily: the risk of pigmentation increases and we need to assess it carefully
  • The excess skin is significant and may require surgery
  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • There is an infection in the area or you tend to form keloids

Before you decide

The questions we hear most, answered straight.

Does it hurt?
We apply a topical anesthetic before we start. While we treat the points you'll feel itching and heat, and in the following days the area will be swollen and tender.
How many sessions do I need, and how long do results last?
Usually 1 to 2 sessions, depending on your skin and the area. The improvement can last a while, although your skin keeps aging and, over the years, another session may be considered.
How many days does recovery take?
The area usually swells in the first few days, especially the eyelids, and small scabs form that fall off in about a week. Afterward, some redness may remain and gradually fade.

How we do it at Quantum

A medical protocol, not a catalog

Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.

  1. 01

    Medical consultation

Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.

  2. 02

    D10 Facial Scanner

Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.

  3. 03

    Follow-up visit

We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.

What it is and how it works

Plasma fibroblast

Plasma fibroblast uses a tiny plasma arc to sublimate very small points on the skin's surface. Each point causes the tissue to contract and stimulates its renewal, which helps tighten defined areas: eyelids with slight excess skin, the eye area, lines around the mouth or isolated fine wrinkles.

It's for people looking for a non-surgical option for a specific area who can plan for a few days of swelling and scabs and avoid the sun for several weeks. If the excess skin is significant, surgery may be needed. In darker skin or skin prone to dark spots the risk of pigmentation is higher, and we don't perform it if you tend to form keloids, have an infection, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The session lasts 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area, and 1 to 2 sessions are typical. Small scabs form and fall off on their own within days, and results show gradually over weeks. The price starts at $700.000 per session and includes a follow-up visit to check your progress.

Your session

Step by step

Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.

  1. 01

Assessment of the area and your skin type

We review the area, how much excess skin there is, your skin type, and whether you tend to get dark spots or form keloids, to confirm whether the treatment is right for you or whether another technique is better.

    Medical consultation before starting

  2. 02

    Your plasma fibroblast session

After cleansing the area and applying a topical anesthetic, we treat the skin with small plasma points, spaced apart and following a controlled pattern.

    30 to 60 min

  3. 03

    Scab care and follow-up

We show you how to care for the scabs while they fall off on their own, track how the skin tightens, and decide whether a second session is needed.

Original products registered with INVIMA

  • 01

    Skin type assessed

If your skin is dark or prone to dark spots, the risk increases and it may not be the most suitable option.

  • 02

    Selected cases

We only recommend it for small areas with slight excess skin; if another option suits you better, we'll tell you.

  • 03

    Controlled pattern and spacing

We leave space between the points so the skin heals well, and take extra care in delicate areas such as the eyelids.

  • 04

    Recovery you can plan for

Before your session, you'll already know you'll have swelling and small scabs for several days.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions

Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.

How much does plasma fibroblast cost?

Each session costs from $700.000. That price covers the initial medical consultation, the procedure, your aftercare instructions and a follow-up visit to check your progress. First we confirm that your skin and the area are suitable.

Does it hurt?

We apply a topical anesthetic before we start. While we treat the points you'll feel itching and heat, and in the following days the area will be swollen and tender.

How many days does recovery take?

The area usually swells in the first few days, especially the eyelids, and small scabs form that fall off in about a week. Afterward, some redness may remain and gradually fade.

How soon will I see results?

The tightening starts to show when the scabs fall off and keeps improving over the following weeks as the skin renews.

How many sessions do I need, and how long do results last?

Usually 1 to 2 sessions, depending on your skin and the area. The improvement can last a while, although your skin keeps aging and, over the years, another session may be considered.

What side effects are possible?

Scabs, redness and swelling. Less often, dark or light spots appear in the area, especially in darker skin or with sun exposure; that's why aftercare is so important.

Who shouldn't have it?

We rule it out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you tend to form keloids, or if there is an infection in the area. In darker skin the risk of dark spots is higher and, if the eyelid has a lot of excess skin, we'll tell you clearly that this doesn't replace surgery.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Depending on the area and your goal, it can be part of a plan with techniques such as calcium hydroxylapatite or CO2 laser. During your consultation we decide what suits you and how long to wait between treatments.
