Before you decide

Is it right for you?

We tell you frankly when this treatment is a good option and when we'd rather assess you first.

Ideal if…

  • You have stretch marks from pregnancy, weight changes or growth spurts
  • Their color or texture bothers you
  • Your stretch marks are recent, reddish or purplish
  • You worry about them showing in a swimsuit or short clothing
  • You want to improve how they look with a realistic plan

We assess you first if…

  • You expect your stretch marks to disappear completely
  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • There's an active infection or wound in the area
  • You tend to form keloids and haven't been assessed

Before you decide

The questions we hear most, answered straight.

Does it hurt?
It varies with the technique used. It's usually tolerable discomfort, similar to warmth or fine pricks, and if needed we apply topical anesthetic so you're more comfortable. Before we begin, we tell you what you'll feel.
Are stretch marks removed completely? How long does the improvement last?
They don't disappear completely: we aim to improve their color and texture so they're less noticeable. The improvement usually lasts, although another pregnancy or weight changes can cause new stretch marks. Recent ones respond better than white ones.
What are the side effects, and what is recovery like?
Redness, swelling and temporary tenderness are common; depending on the technique, recovery takes 0 to 5 days. If you have darker skin, there's a risk of dark spots, so protecting yourself from the sun between sessions is important.

How we do it at Quantum

A medical protocol, not a catalog

Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.

  1. 01

    Medical consultation

Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.

  2. 02

    D10 Facial Scanner

Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.

  3. 03

    Follow-up visit

We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.

What it is and how it works

Stretch mark treatment

A stretch mark is an internal scar: collagen and elastin in the deep layers break because the skin had to stretch faster than it could keep up, during pregnancy, weight changes or growth. Treatments aim to build new collagen and soften their color.

When we assess you, we look at their color and age: new ones, reddish or purple, usually respond better than older, white ones, where the change is more limited. From there we choose which techniques to use, how many sessions to do and how often. The goal is to improve how they look, not to make them disappear. We don't treat them during pregnancy or breastfeeding or with an infection or wound in the area, and we assess any tendency to form keloids beforehand.

Session length and recovery depend on the technique, from 0 to 5 days. The improvement is gradual, over months, and we track it at progress follow-up visits. The price depends on the area, the type of stretch mark and the sessions, so we set it in your consultation.

Your session

Step by step

Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.

  1. 01

    Stretch mark assessment

We analyze the type, color, age and extent of your stretch marks, along with your skin type and whether your skin tends to develop dark spots, to propose a realistic protocol.

    Medical consultation before starting

  2. 02

    Sessions according to your protocol

We apply your protocol's techniques to the area, with the interval we agreed on between sessions. While your skin renews itself, we show you how to protect it.

    Session plan

  3. 03

    Follow-up and adjustments

At each follow-up visit we compare the area and, based on how your skin responds over the months, adjust techniques, intensity or intervals.

Safety and natural results

Less is more

We want you to look like yourself, at your best. These are the criteria we follow in every session.

Original products registered with INVIMA

  • 01

A technique suited to your skin

Your skin type and tendency toward dark spots or scarring change the recommendation. We review this before proposing a protocol.

  • 02

    No promises to erase them

Our goal is to make stretch marks less noticeable, not to make them disappear. Older, white ones improve more modestly.

  • 03

    Care between sessions

We show you how to protect the treated skin from the sun and keep it moisturized, to care for it and lower the risk of dark spots.

  • 04

Plan adjusted at each follow-up visit

After each session we check how your skin reacted and adjust the plan if tenderness, dark spots or a weaker-than-expected response appears.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions

Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.

How much does stretch mark treatment cost?

The price is personalized, because it depends on the area, its extent, the type of stretch mark and how many sessions the protocol includes. After examining your skin in your consultation, and before you start, we give you the plan with its price.

Are stretch marks removed completely? How long does the improvement last?

They don't disappear completely: we aim to improve their color and texture so they're less noticeable. The improvement usually lasts, although another pregnancy or weight changes can cause new stretch marks. Recent ones respond better than white ones.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually several, with a few weeks' break between them so the skin can renew itself. Exactly how many is decided in your consultation and depends on the type of stretch mark, how large the area is and how your skin responds.

Does it hurt?

It varies with the technique used. It's usually tolerable discomfort, similar to warmth or fine pricks, and if needed we apply topical anesthetic so you're more comfortable. Before we begin, we tell you what you'll feel.

What are the side effects, and what is recovery like?

Redness, swelling and temporary tenderness are common; depending on the technique, recovery takes 0 to 5 days. If you have darker skin, there's a risk of dark spots, so protecting yourself from the sun between sessions is important.

How soon will I see results?

The improvement comes little by little, because the skin needs time to form new collagen. It usually shows over several months and is best assessed once the protocol is finished.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes, depending on your case. In your consultation we may suggest adding microneedling or CO2 laser, which we also offer at the clinic, or cellulite treatment if the texture of that same area also concerns you, always respecting your skin's healing time.

Who shouldn't have it?

We don't recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding; it's best to wait until they're over. Nor if the area has an active wound or infection. If you tend to form keloids or dark spots, we assess you first to choose a technique suited to your skin.
