How we do it at Quantum
A medical protocol, not a catalog
Every plan starts with a consultation: we listen to what you want to achieve, review your medical history and decide whether this treatment is right for you.
- 01
Medical consultation
Before any treatment is applied, we review your case and explain what is possible and what isn't.
- 02
D10 Facial Scanner
Everything starts with a consultation, not a catalog: we analyze your skin and scalp before recommending any treatment.
- 03
Follow-up visit
We review the result with you and adjust the plan if needed.
What it is and how it works
Enzymes for keloid scars and fibrosis
When skin over-heals, it forms dense, disorganized tissue: this is how keloids, hypertrophic scars and the fibrosis that sometimes remains after surgery develop. The enzymes are injected into that tissue through micro-injections so that, session by session, it becomes softer and more flexible and the scar is less noticeable.
It's for hard, raised scars or scars with tightness, itching or discomfort, and for uneven areas after surgery. It's good to know from the start that improvement is gradual, that the goal isn't to erase the scar, and that a keloid can grow back, which is why we do follow-up visits. We don't apply it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with infection, an open wound or allergy to the ingredients.
The application takes 15 to 30 minutes and you go back to your routine the same day. Several sessions are needed, depending on how large, old and hard the scar is, and improvement comes over weeks to months. The 3 cc vial starts at $480.000.

Your session
Step by step
Here's how your treatment goes, from the consultation to the follow-up visit.
- 01
Assessment of your scar
We check its hardness, size and age along with your history, determine whether it's fibrosis, a hypertrophic scar or a keloid, and decide whether enzymes are the right option.
Medical consultation before starting
- 02
Applying the enzymes
After cleansing the area, we inject the enzymes through micro-injections into the fibrous tissue or scar, distributing them according to its hardness and size.
15 to 30 min
- 03
Follow-up and next sessions
At each follow-up visit we assess how the height, hardness and discomfort change, and agree with you on the pace of your next sessions and follow-up.

Original products registered with INVIMA
- 01
Diagnosed scar
Before treating, we distinguish between fibrosis, a hypertrophic scar and a keloid.
- 02
Honest expectations
We aim to flatten and soften the scar, not make it disappear.
- 03
Sterile technique
We disinfect the skin and use single-use materials, since an infected or irritated scar can get worse.
- 04
Watching for recurrence
A keloid can grow back; that's why we follow up and act in time.

Frequently asked questions
We answer your questions
Have another question? Message us on WhatsApp and our medical team will answer.
How much does it cost?
The 3 cc vial costs from $480.000. That price covers the initial medical consultation, applying the product to the scar or fibrous area and your aftercare instructions. We decide how many sessions you need during your consultation, based on your scar.
Does the scar disappear?
No, it isn't erased. Our goal is for it to become softer, flatter and less noticeable, and to bother you less. During your consultation we'll honestly explain how much your scar could improve.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually several, spaced apart. The exact number depends on the scar's hardness, age and size, and we adjust it based on the response we see at each follow-up visit.
Does it hurt?
Because scar tissue is firm, the application causes brief burning or discomfort that almost everyone tolerates. Sessions are short, and the area may stay tender for a few hours up to a few days.
How soon will I see changes?
Improvement is gradual and usually appears after a few sessions: first you'll notice the scar is softer, then flatter. If it's old and hard, the change can take months.
What side effects are possible?
For a few days, tenderness, mild swelling or a small bruise in the area. Less often, the color of the treated skin changes, which we monitor at follow-up visits.
Who shouldn't have it?
We rule it out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you're allergic to the ingredients, or if there is an open wound or active infection in the area. When the scar is very recent, we decide on the best timing during your consultation.
Can keloids come back, and can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes, keloids tend to come back, which is why we follow up. Depending on your consultation, it can be complemented with subcision when there are depressed marks, and with fibrosis treatment when there is post-surgical fibrosis.
