What it is and how it works
Scar treatment
Scar tissue is more compact and irregular than the healthy skin around it. With micro-injections of PB Serum enzymes, we aim to make that tissue more flexible so the scar looks smoother and blends in better. If your scar calls for it, we can add other techniques, such as subcision or CO2 laser.
It's for marks on the face or body that bother you, from accidents, surgery or acne, always with realistic expectations: the goal is to soften them, not make them disappear. We wait if the scar is recent and hasn't fully closed, if there is an infection in the area, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.
Sessions are short, 15 to 30 minutes, and don't interrupt your routine. Several are usually needed, depending on the scar, and improvement is gradual over weeks. The 3 cc vial of PB Serum starts at $280.000.

How much does it cost?
The 3 cc vial of PB Serum (enzymes) costs from $280.000. That price covers the initial medical consultation, the application to the scar and your aftercare instructions. We decide how many sessions you need during your consultation.
Will the scar be erased?
It doesn't disappear completely. Our goal is for it to look more even, smooth and less noticeable. During your consultation we'll clearly explain how much it could improve based on its age and type.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually several, spaced apart. The number depends on the scar's age, size and type, and we adjust it based on your response at each follow-up visit.
Does it hurt?
During the application you'll feel pricks and brief discomfort, a bit more if the scar is hard. Sessions are short and almost everyone gets back to their routine quickly.
How soon will I see changes?
Improvement is gradual over the sessions: first the texture feels smoother, then the appearance improves. If the scar is old, the change is slower.
What side effects are possible?
For a few days, redness, mild swelling, tenderness or a small bruise in the area. Less often, the color of the treated skin changes, which we monitor at follow-up visits.
Who shouldn't have it?
We rule it out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is an active infection in the area. To be treated, the scar must be stable and closed; if it's recent, we'll tell you the right time during your consultation.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Depending on your consultation, depressed scars can also be treated with CO2 laser or subcision, while raised scars or keloids are treated with enzymes for keloids and fibrosis.
